CBA Continues #LOVE91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßKRON Campaign in a Social Media Contest

11/11/2016

You might know that this past summer, 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and the James L. Knight Foundation launched a social media campaign to engage our community with the school. The campaign invited students, faculty, alumni, and members of the greater Akron area to write reasons why they love 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and share them on social media with the hashtag #Love91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßkron.

What you might not know is that this project was initiated by College of Business Administration (CBA) student Stephanie Weber, a junior marketing major at 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß. "My faith in our University has never wavered. This University has many great assets and holds a special place in the hearts of so many. I feel it is time to again remind each other and everyone else of this," according to Weber. Participants hand-wrote notes stating what they loved about 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß, then took a picture with their phone, posted it on social media and included #Love91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßkron.

In support of Stephanie’s passion and love for our school and to continue the spirit of gratitude, the College of Business Administration is holding its own #Love91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßkron social media contest during the month of November. To participate, create a message for why you love 91´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and tweet it, post on Facebook, or share on Instagram. You MUST include the hashtag #Love91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßkron and include your program’s business area: #91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßCBAAccountancy, #91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßCBAEconomics, #91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßCBAFinance, #91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßCBAManagement, or #91´«Ã½ÔÚÏßCBAMarketing.

The business discipline generating the most positive sentiment will be declared the winner by the CBA Dean Krovi.
